Bishop Dozier C. Shields, Founder
Christian Leadership Bible College, Inc. (CLBC) was organized and incorporated on April 13, 1983 by Bishop Dozier C. Shields, Rev. W. Vance Cotten, Sr., and Evangelist Gladys Richardson who was a graduate of Carver Bible Institute of Atlanta, GA. The vision from the Lord was to educate men and women and send them back to their respective churches and communities to be a blessing. Education gained was not to go back and attempt to embarrass their Pastor, but to be a blessing and help to them.
Our first three teachers were also Bishop Dozier C. Shields, Rev. W. Vance Cotten, Sr., and Evangelist Gladys Richardson.
Our first graduating class was thirty-two students. Christian Leadership Bible College has graduated hundreds of men and women composed of pastors, deacons, trustees, ministers, evangelist, missionaries, and lay members, just to name a few, all from various cities through the entire state of Connecticut, of all nationalities.
Christian Leadership Bible College has received many recommendations by state wide pastors, who mandate that new ministers from their churches attend this school.
In November 2009 Bishop Dozier C. Shields was a delegate for Christian Leadership Bible College to be honored at a banquet sponsored by the Greater new Haven Clergy Association.
The teaching staff of Christian Leadership Bible College is composed of our graduates from various churches and denominations which include Baptists, Pentecostal, Holiness, and Non-Denominational. Our staff is trained with the assigned curriculum.
Our staff is composed of pastors, school teachers, college professors, ordained preachers, evangelists, missionaries, sisters and brothers all who have accepted Christ into their lives.

C.L.B.C. is unique in history and still provides a wide variety of intense theological studies for men and women who wish to enhance their knowledgeable abilities in Christ. It doesn't matter what your calling is, position, or office in your ministry maybe, this is your God-given opportunity.
This Christian College is unique in history and still provides one to four years of intense theological stretching and warm opportunities for powerful fellowship among our staff and student body.
The current challenge to the body of Christ and the stress that we face today are the reasons we are once again coming together this 2018/2019 school year.
I pray that this school year will again provide you an opportunity to be stretched and challenged. May God Minister to you during the school year and beyond to provide you a well-deserved retreat from the normal activity of your goals in Christ.
